APPEARANCE NAME MEANING: (メイユウ) "Meiyuu" meaning "is bright" or "is freind" HEIGHT: 3.5 feet (standing) WEIGHT: 75 Pounds VOICE OVER: Christina Aguilera ONE LINE DESCRIPTION: A medium sized Indian leopardess with violet colored eyes FULL DESCRIPTION: Meiyuu's species is Panthera pardus fusca. Her size is normal for both her subspecies and sex; lithe in shape, lean in muscle, and moderate in weight. All of these natural attributes combined benefits the leopardess during ambush and stealth hunts. As for more visual characteristics, the majority of Meiyuu's velvety coat is a light, whiskey-aburn accented by scattered black rosettes and white undersides. Her optics are a striking violet in color that give off a pinkish tint to them when exposed to sunlight. PERSONALITY Alignment: True Neutral Meiyuu is a very reserved leopardess. Quite and usually unbothered, she isn't one to wear her emotions on her sleeve and believes letting them out for others to see is a sign of weakness. The molly is very prideful and carries herself in an elegant and femininely regal manner. She cares not what others think of her and knows very well to have confidence in both her appearance and abilities. Meiyuu is also known to be the flirtatious type. Whether it be because the leopardess is feeling playful or because she has genuine interest in an individual, she knows of her beauty and charm. Being raised in an environment where trust is difficult to come by, Meiyuu has a slightly cynical mindset and holds the belief that everyone does what they do for a hidden purpose. That being said, she is very observant of an animal's words, actions and body language and uses her instincts to decided whether or not she wants to interact with an individual. This isn't to say that Meiyuu is rude or mean spirited. In fact, the leopardess is actually open-mindedly respectful to those who deserve it and affectionate to the ones closest to her heart. As mentioned before, Meiyuu is calm and usually unbothered; it is very rare to see her in a state where she is upset. But when someone or something actually manages to get underneath the molly's skin, she can become cold-hearted, sharp-tounged and vengeful. Reasoning and mercy are out of the question when she starts seeing red and Meiyuu will even become aggressive when necessary. Positive Traits: Confident, Patient, Respectful, Charming Negative Traits: Cynical, Blunt, Cold, Vengeful LIKES: Elevated terrain (such as mountains and trees), Learning about others and the world around her, Quite spaces DISLIKES: Unearned arrogance, Being talked down to, Laziness, Betrayal SKILLS: Hunting, Intelligence, Agility, Speed FLAWS: Tolerance to non-moderate weather (extreme heat or cold), Endurance DREAMS: The molly wishes to become the best she can possibly be and gradually rise to the top, no matter how difficult that task will become. FEARS: Losing the ones she can actually trust or being betrayed. Meiyuu is picky when it comes to who she puts her faith into and if they are gone, who can she truly go to when times are difficult? HISTORY Meiyuu, along with her triplet sisters Ayame & Emiko, were born far off in the thickets of the jungle under the protection of their mother, Hikari. They're biological father Honda had left long ago as is the unfortunate reality of leopard courtship, so the girls never really knew their father. Despite this, all was well and Hikari proved herself to be an excellent mother. The triplet females were growing up strong and healthy thanks to their mother and had an overall enjoyable cubhood. Emiko was the runt of the litter and was pushed around by her sisters due to her shy and more affectionate nature, but this did not mean she was any less cherished by them. Ayame was the largest of the litter and had dominant tendencies. She'd often playfight with her siblings, sometimes against their will, in order to prove just how strong she was in comparison. Then there was Meiyuu; not as small as meek little Emiko but not as strong as the boastful Ayame. Nothing truly strange stood out about this leopardess other than her large, observant eyes of violet that always silently watched and gathered information from the world around her like a sponge. She was quite and less fussy, preferring to nestle and watch from the soft and gentle arms of her mother rather than playing with her sisters. A part of Hikari comedically felt relief that she had at least one child that didn't cause much trouble. It is a well known fact that every parent has a secret that they never tell their children; Hikari was no exception to this fact. The territory this mother was in was home to a group of vicious male leopards that actively sought out females to mate with. The only reason Hikari was allowed to seek shelter in their territory without being mauled was on the promise that she could produce females in which the toms can breed with when they reached maturity. Hikari was cold, hungry, and pregnant at the time she encountered these males and with nowhere else to raise her young safely, Hikari simply had no other choice but to keep this promise. That is, until Meiyuu eventually found out. It was at the age of 1 when Meiyuu had figured out that this was the case; she had always thought it strange that there were stray males wandering around her mother's den afterall. So when she eavesdropped on a conversation where the group of toms brought up Hikari's deal, Meiyuu was beyond enraged. Ever since birth, Meiyuu and her sisters were basically destined to become pimped beyond their control. And her mother being too weak to do anything about it is what enraged her the most; Meiyuu felt betrayed. So in turn,, Meiyuu sought out revenge. The leopardess planned out the escape for a year until she turned 2. She knew her sisters would never accept the fact that they're mother would do such a thing to them, so Meiyuu never told them what she had heard that night. Instead she would lie[mdash]she would take advantage of Emiko and Ayame's equally wary nature of the stray males and tell them that they had left the camp that morning to lure their mother into the forest and kill her; In reality, the group went for a hunt that morning. The two were equally shocked, with Ayame even getting riled up and suggesting they find the toms and attack them on sight. But Meiyuu was all too convincing and lured them into thinking that they had no other choice but to escape before the males came back and killed them as well. By the time Hikari and the other leopards had came back with food, the triplet sisters had already escaped hours ago. Days and eventually weeks pass with no sign of them, and the group of toms had figured that they were permanently gone. Hikari was planning on telling them when they reached maturity in order to escape with her children, but it seemed that they had left earlier than expected. No one knows what happened to the mother afterwards; whether she was killed for not making sure the promise was kept or forced to produce young in place of her daughters, but it is presumed by the triplets that she is indeed dead. And while Ayame and Emiko mourned her death, Meiyuu didn't feel an ounce of remorse for the mother that was allegedly planning to prostitute them."She had it coming..." Meiyuu, Ayame and Emiko eventually came across the Skotadi dynasty after weeks of wandering. Although seen as sketchy outsiders at first, the three were able to proved their loyalty and win the trust of the dynasty in order to begin creating a life for themselves. To this day, Meiyuu never actually told her sisters the truth of what really happened, but she still believes that little white lie was the only way she could've protected them.
