ONE LINE DESCRIPTION: a large white bengal tom with icy eyes

Zetyr is in excellent condition - having both a long and lean, yet muscled stature. In size, he is a little above the average male's height. He has a lithe body, a muscled back and front legs. Zetyr is a pure white bengal tiger with traditional dark brown - almost black stripes patterned down his body. He has white tufts around his neck, like most of his kind. However, his are a lot shorter and less evident than some. Zetyr has round, icy coloured eyes. In some lights his eyes appear almost gray or teal. Zetyr has one large scar across his back - near the bridge of his tail heading up his spine by about half a paw-length. This scar was obtained through a battle with an outsider - a wolf, at the edge of the territory. This injury occurred when Zetyr was 3 years old, but ever since he has held a slight distaste for the canine variety. Zetyr has a unique trait about him. This trait was inherited from his father. Zetyr has polydactyl; demonstrating 6 toes on his forefeet (an additional 1) and 5 on his hind feet (an additional 1). Zetyr's polydactyl holds no hindrance to him what so ever, but he may occasionally joke that it helps him climb so well.



The following traits best outline Zetyr. However, overall, he is kind and caring with a compassionate nature. This male tiger demonstrates ambition, charisma, and stubbornness, with a hidden emotional aspect.

ambitious
Zet is an ambitious male - ever since he was a young kit, he always dreamed of becoming a fierce and brave tom who would lay down his life, if necessary for the good of the dynasty. Zet has achieved much of his dream, managing to train and succeed in the role of a warrior before proceeding to be named Guardian, Duke and then King. His bloodlines are not royal by birth, but by hard-work and determination. Even to this day, Zet is still very ambitious and because of this he often comes across as a bit of a ‘workaholic’. He believes in young-ones learning all they can and not squandering any opportunities handed to them. Zetyr’s desire is to have the Dynasty rule as the best and most successful in the whole Motherland.

flirtatious
Zet enjoys the company of good females. He is naturally confident and charming to those he meets and as a branch from that - flirtatious. zet will often wear a playful and cheeky smile which has said to claim hearts before. this male knows boundaries however and will respect them if asked, or even if implied. Zet is not disrespectful to those around him but thoroughly enjoys playful and cheeky...maybe even what he would call...harmless fun? On two occasions, the ‘harmless fun’ has turned out to be less than harmless. Despite these two unintentional litters, he loves his offspring and he cares deeply for them but due to his role, he is forever busy with other matters.

stubborn
While Zet is generally a male who is easy to get along with as he is so friendly and charming to those around him. He is stubborn in his ways. Zet is difficult to persuade - often, once his mind is set, there is no changing it.

observant
Zetyr is observant when it comes to finer details; he notices the smallest of changes and can detect when something feels or is out of place. He is a clever strategist with quick thinking being a strength, enabling him to pinpoint targets or maneuvers with little room for error.

brave
Zetyr appears fearless and brave; willing to do whatever he must at almost any cost. He holds no quarrel heading into battle to fight for what he loves and believes in.

misunderstood
Zet has a rather unorthodox past; rising to power through hard work and determination rather than the scarlet liquid in his veins. He has had several accidental litters and encounters with both the same and opposite sex numerous times. Zetyr has a love life that would leave many in surprise especially given his 'workaholic' nature. His workaholic nature leaves many with the perspective that he is a poor father and would make an even worse mate. While his duties to the Dynasty will always come first, he does try and spend time with his family and even pack-mates. He does deeply love and care his cubs and would shift earth and oceans to make them happy - he would do similarly for the right Queen too.

LIKES: swimming, climbing, his children, celebrating success, pushing others into achieving their dreams, learning new things, sticking up for the 'little' guy.
DISLIKES: liars, arranged matings (this was outlawed in Skotadi when he was 2 years old), wolves/other dog like creatures but he will be civil enough to them if needed be, bullying.
SKILLS: diplomacy, keen-sighted, fighting (previously a warrior then guardian), hunting, communicating and teaching.
FLAWS: elderberry elixir, misunderstood, pushy & stubborn, too easily enjoys the company of various males and females.
DREAMS: to eventually find true love, to have more children, to see one of his children in a position of power and achieve greatness
FEARS: To be viewed a bad father and/or bad King by the Skotadian felidae.



Zet’s mother was a quiet and shy fae who kept to herself. She was very reserved but somehow around Zetyr’s father, she was always smiling and laughing. Mordecai seemed to bring out the best in S’kara. Zet's father was a popular and fierce warrior; who was eventually named the Guardian of the Queen. He earned respect from many of the others in the Dynasty because of his unwavering loyalty and courage.

S’kara was not an overly fruitful tigress, much to both her and Mordecai’s dismay. However after numerous wishes and sacrifices to the Gods and Goddesses, S’kara fell pregnant. The two however held no shock when only one cub was born.

Zetyr was born into the dynasty, raised within it as well. He was taught the dynasty history thoroughly and grew to love it, fostering both loyalty and determination to keep the Dynasty safe at all costs. He learned all about the legends and about all of the historic battles.

When Zetyr was around 2 years old; his parents split up. It was a complete shock to everyone as they had seemed to smitten with one another. But, alas the two had been spending too much time apart due to Mordecai’s promotion. S’kara had grown fond of another as well, making matters a little more complicated. Despite this though, the split was amicable, but it still hurt Zetyr and Mordecai. Zetyr grew closer to his father after the split, watching him grow and succeed in his role as Guardian of the Queen. In his very young eyes, mother had left due to another - the duties to the Dynasty were important...Surely she could see that?

S’kara and Zetyr had a somewhat strained relationship at this time. S’kara loved her son and wanted for him to be happy, but she knew he had not seen the divorce coming and she knew it was going to be hard for him to digest as he was already demonstrating ‘workaholic’ tendencies, taking after his father.

Zet's father died a noble death, doing as he loved which was protecting his kin and dynasty from enemies at the border. Zet was only 3 years old at the time of his father's passing but it only fuelled his motivation to succeed even more. It was around the time of Mordecai’s death that Zetyr started seeing Likami.

Zetyr had been courting for several weeks with a fae named Líkami. It was rumored by many that Zetyr’s ‘affections’ for her were merely a distraction from Mordecai’s death. But Zetyr had not confirmed nor denied this. It wasn’t long before she fell pregnant with Zetyr’s offspring. The two were not officially mates nor did they act like mates. They were simply physically involved with each other. Maybe they were both distractions for each other.

Their litter consisted of two male cubs. Vöxtyr (named due to his large size and after his father) and Zuberi (named after Likami’s father who perished when she was a cub). However there were several complications making the litter tricky. Líkami was a golden hued lioness and the size of the cubs were a little larger due to Zetyr’s tigress genes. She unfortunately did not make it through the night and died moments after giving birth to Zuberi. Her death was felt heavily by Zetyr as he had grown to care for Likami; the mother of his two sons.

The two sons were put into the care of a nursing leopardess who cared for them until the two were weaned. Zetyr visited his cubs frequently; vowing to be a good father considering their mother was no longer alive. It was around this time that Zetyr and his mother - S’kara managed to reconnect, bonding over the two small cubs. Zetyr had put the past behind him and was wanting his cubs to grow up with some form of relationship with S’kara.

One would have thought that the first accidental pregnancy may have swayed Zetyr from his mischievous ways, but 1 year later after Likami’s death, he found himself lying with another. Ceitidh captured Zetyr’s attention one evening during a festival; a celebration of two felines coming together as mates. There was a beautiful feast and everyone was having a freeing evening. Zetyr had also only just been promoted to the role of Guardian - he felt that he may as well celebrate too. Ceitidh and Zetyr ended up leaving the festivities early and spending a night together. Their relationship was built on lust, but several months later when the Gods blessed Ceitidh with Zetyr’s offspring, he couldn’t help but feel protective over the female. She ended up giving birth to one son and one daughter which she let Zetyr name. Zetyr fell in love with the young cubs and named the male Vikenti and the spitfire young female Elsiana. When the latest litter was around 1.5 years old, a tragedy occurred which shook Zetyr to the bone. Unknown to Zetyr, Elsiana had taken Vikenti out late one night to comfort him. The two cubs ended up finding themselves cornered by a rabid animal. The animal attacked, leaving Elsiana with serious injuries. A patrol of warriors discovered the cubs and frightened the rabid animal, saving Vikenti from the fate of the animal. Unfortunately, the injuries Elsiana had sustained were too extreme and she died at the scene of the attack. Zetyr was heartbroken hearing the news of his only daughters’ fate. In her honor, he held a large feast for the entire dynasty. He tried to check on his youngest son, but struggled to get close to him as he was only met with anger. Zetyr put Vikenti’s actions down as grief and decided to give him space.

Zetyr tried to be a good father, but he ended up spending a lot of time dedicated to the dynasty. He held the role of Guardian for 2 years before being promoted to Duke. He was the Duke for 1 year before the King passed, leaving Zetyr to claim the throne.

Extra: The name 'Silvási' was bestowed onto Zetyr when he averaged around 4 years old by the former King. This was not only because of his hard work but the hard work put in by his father too. The King estimated that Zetyr would find greatness as his father had. The Phréith family; traditionally a family of cougars, have never particularly liked this method of obtaining a name of nobility. Ever since Zetyr was a cub, the Phréith family were always contesting everything Zetyr or his father Mordecai did. When Zetyr was named Duke, Bathalian Phréith - the now head of their family name, was frustrated at the news especially after he had assumed the title would go to him undoubtedly. Zetyr doesn't hate Bathalian or the Phréith family, but he is wary of them and treats them with caution.

What is your character's views on low ranking members of society? i.e loners & omegas
Zetyr doesn't believe in the harsh treatment of others for no apparent reason. However, he is very strict with punishments to those who have wronged him or the Dynasty. He would hold no hesitation in demoting those he feels have deserved such actions. He does not believe Omegas are Omegas "because they were born into it" - Omegas are the way they are because they have done something to deserve the rank they hold. 

What is the biggest mistake your character has ever made?
He would say none, he has made no mistakes. However if he could go back in time, he believes he would spend more time with his cubs and getting to know both mother's to his children. Especially Líkami before she passed away.

Does your character care about how they are perceived by others?
He would say very much so. Zetyr is often worrying about the view others have on him. However, this is exclusive to those in Skotadi. He wants for outsiders to see Skotadi as the strict and strategic on the battle field as their lore suggests. Whereas he wants those within the Dynasty to see him for the loving, affectionate, but hard working ruler he is.
