APPEARANCE HEIGHT: 80cm WEIGHT: 96lbs VOICE OVER: Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jamie Lannister - Game of Thrones) ONE LINE DESCRIPTION: a slender golden wolf with one blue eye and one brown M'aiq is an average wolf in terms of height and weight. M'aiq has a slender body with strong curved muscles around his shoulders and legs. M'aiq while is a healer, would never say no to a fight. He however looks a little unusual as his fur is fairly short in length while his facial features and ears are somewhat rounded in shape. M'aiq has faded golden fur with white undertones across his muzzle, stomach and legs. M'aiq has a slightly darker golden patch on his forehead. One trait that is the most notable about M'aiq is his family's trait of bi-colored eyes. It has been passed down from generations to generations. M'aiq's left eye is a crystalline blue while the right is a golden brown. PERSONALITY M'aiq is overall a fairly decent wolf. He is all the things many capable and competent wolves are, but of course has some slight diversions. M'aiq Lússirr is known as the Prince of Lies. There is a good reason for this. M'aiq has a tongue like a snake; he is charming and witty, sly and cunning, clever at making words flow from his mouth and having others hear exactly what they want to hear. This male knows exactly when to persuade or deceive. He is flirtatious when he wants to be and sly at other times. He finds lies make others happier and keep them grounded for longer. He will often lie for his own gain, manipulation is just another part of his game. M'aiq is not evil; but he is a little chaotic and will always put himself first, those he cares for second and everything else third. M'aiq will obey the rules and do as he is told, but he can be rebellious and he might just simply decide to follow his own ideals. M'aiq enjoys a challenge; whether that be socially, mentally or physically. M'aiq loves games and competition, and really digs his claws into anything with a slight challenge or twist to it. M'aiq enjoys swimming, fighting and herbalism. They are his best practiced skills and are usually predominant starting points for a challenge. M'aiq is not a foolish wolf; he is clever and cunning; as one would suspect with all the lying....His lies never catch up with him, he always has a story to tell or a justified reason. M'aiq however has no tolerance for stupidity. Wolves who are dumb or make silly choices irritate him beyond measure. LIKES: + sunshine + snow + rain + challenges + socializing. DISLIKES: - hot days - stupidity - people delving into the past for no real reason. SKILLS: swimming, fighting, diplomacy, herbalism, creativity, charismatic. FLAWS: a chronic liar; it can be hard to determine the truth with M'aiq, hunting, pessimistic. DREAMS: to make a name of himself in his new home and pack; to forget the past as though it was never real. FEARS: finding happiness and losing it, death. HISTORY M'aiq Lússirr is a well-known liar, so his exact history may be somewhat incorrect or hazy based on that knowledge. To most people's knowledge, M'aiq was born outside of the Motherland. This much is evident due to his accent and slurs with various words. M'aiq was born across the ocean in another land - known vaguely as Scandinavia. He speaks the language of his people fluently despite having not been there in some years. He may sometimes slip into his home-language, but usually only if he is extremely tired. Back in the home-land, he was a Prince in a pack named the Järnsidas Pack. They lived in the open moors with rolling hillside and scattered groves of trees. They were a pack feared for many things as their territory was forever growing. Hailing from such an open spacious environment was not without its disadvantages. The home-land was bitterly cold; there was snow littering the ground most days, rivers would freeze over entirely and the pack tended to dwindle as an illness was more predominant. M'aiq was always who he is, the liar. But, back then he was known as Prince Lússirr; The Prince of Lies. King Eysteinn - his father ruled with a mighty paw and growl. He was finely into tradition, believing in the old ways with male dominance, blood markings to indicate superiority, sacrifices, and torture. No one dared question the King's rule. He was kind to most despite his hard approach, but there were definitely somethings not quite right. The King always wore the skull of his ex-wife loosely around his neck. He plundered nearby lone groups; stealing their provisions and their she-wolves. Slaves were common tools in the pack; used for either male pleasure, fetching food, or simply doing simple tasks or orders. The Queen - Lavigsta, seemed less than phased by her mate's quirks. She was Queen of one of the biggest packs in Scandinavia, why would she complain. One day, The King invited a neighboring pack over into their lands. They were a smaller, peaceful pack, but they had been causing issues for many of the wolves in Järnsidas. The other pack had been utilizing the river that resided on their border. Järnsidas Pack argued that it was their property; the border began after the river. But, the other pack was willing to negotiate and come to some resolution. The King of Järnsidas was drunk with power; he wanted that river. King Eysteinn claimed to have settled the matter - half of the river would go to the other pack. But, as they were packing up and readying to return to their pack-grounds, warriors of Järnsidas leaped forth. The Queen and the Princess were taken as captives. The wolves of the other pack attacked and killed; until only their King remained. The King begged for mercy. He begged for mercy for himself, his Queen and his daughter. Järnsidas was not a pack who knew the word. To ask for mercy was to dishonor. Death should be proud. A welcoming invitation to join the Gods. King Eysteinn ordered the King to be killed and so he was. King Eysteinn claimed the former Queen as a slave which did not go down well for her. The former Queen was killed 6 months later due to sheer abuse. The Princess, however, was granted to King Eysteinn's only son; M'aiq. A gift as a wife, slave or consort, it was his choice. Brynhildr was a very quiet wolf, very soft-spoken and shy. M'aiq was wary of her at first, keeping her as a slave or a pet as he did not trust her. As the months passed by, M'iaq's kindness and gentleness towards her seemed to pay off. She became a consort, a lover of the Prince. The two never became mates, but they were extremely close. Brynhildr even fell pregnant at one stage, but a miscarriage meant she lost the litter. Around the time M'aiq and Brynhildr lost their litter; an enemy pack arrived on the scene. They were tired of the way Järnsidas treated others and held their heads so proudly. The battle raged on for a very long time; many were killed, including Brynhildr who unfortunately knew no warrior skills, other than looking pretty. The army was closing in and eventually, Järnsidas would be no more - the other pack simply had too many strong and capable warriors. M'aiq Lússirr was a wanted wolf; desired due to his blood. Likely to be killed and sacrificed, maybe even made a slave. It was no life, not one at all. M'aiq ran; ducking behind the back of the territory and running until he eventually came to water. He knew how to swim, thankfully, and it eventually brought him to the Motherland. The Motherland was a strange land; they spoke a slightly different dialect. M'aiq found himself barely being understood. However, the more he traveled around the lands, the better he became. When he arrived in his new pack; he had learned several words and was able to coherently speak the tongue of the Motherland. However, he still occasionally struggled. Many questioned his heritage, but many kept their tongues for they did not want to offend the usual wolf especially when he had dedicated his life to his new home and new life. Note: In M'aiq's old pack; it was a tradition for Princes and Princesses to learn and master the way of healing. When M'aiq stumbled across Fengari and learned many of the herbs and remedies were the same, he requested to be considered for the role of Apothocary. He was graciously granted this role.
