Anandi is one intimidating creature. She has a tall, muscular build. Since her front legs are longer than her hind ones, her back has a downward slope. On top of her small head, she has teardrop shaped ears. Above her broad, powerful shoulders and neck, she possesses extra amounts of fur. It makes her look like she has a short horse mane. Her brown fur is covered with black spots. Unusually, she also has white flecks. Her pelt gets darker around her muzzle, forearms, and the ends of her tail. The queen possesses sharp teeth and extraordinary jaws for crunching bone. She also has intense lighter brown eyes that stand out.

Overall, Anandi is a walking enigma. She keeps things to her chest, revealing what she wants others to hear. Her movements are regal, yet somewhat rigid all of the time. It is hard to figure her out as she keeps others on their feet. She is known for looks. While many deem her as unattractive and masculine, some would find her fearsome appearance intriguing. She wears a scowl most of the time and only wore her signature smirk when she was amused or being calculating. 

When Anandi desires something, she would go through lengths to get it. Whether it is success or revenge. While she prefers to handle tasks herself, she isn't afraid to ask help from those she trusts. Once she makes up her mind, stopping her would be nearly impossible. This female hyena is quite strong. However, she mostly uses her cunning, manipulative side to get what she wants. The queen has a gift of making others feel empowered. That makes it easier for her to get others to do things she doesn't necessarily want to do without making them despise her. 

While she is guarded and doesn't share much of her past, she definitely speaks her mind. Whether those around her like it or not. She is somewhat careful of what she says. The hyena is aware that she needs her pack--numbers. If someone decides to confide in her or tell her a secret, she would keep the information in her chest--unless someone else needs to know. 

Being an irritable animal, it can be hard to get close to her. Little things can annoy her, such as brushing against her, making noise while she's sleeping or talk too much. Interrupting her while she's talking irks her badly. If one decides to, there better be a good reason. The worst thing one can do is anger her. Her temper is quite fierce. At first, she would start to use her words and then her body language. She would most likely attack someone and then punish them in a rage. If one wants to get attacked, betray her or attack her first. And those are just a couple of ways. 

Although she seems like someone one cannot get close to, being friends with her is possible. Those who are hold a special place in her heart and would likely see her adventurous, jocular, and playful side. She can be someone's best supporter. 


Towards outsiders...

She disdains for those outside Fengari, especially felines. In her mind, she knows that the leaders would care more about their own interests than her clan. They are also rivals. That's why she finds it hard to trust them. Her selfish side is likely to come out. If another dynasty is in need, she'd rather allow another counterpart to volunteer assistance than waste her resources. She's only willing to consider helping them if they are willing to give her clan something valuable in return.

Anandi was born in outlander territory five years ago. She had two loving parents (Kenya and Yufazi) who did everything for her. They escaped an unofficial pack after the mother failed to comply with an arranged marriage. That's when she realized she was pregnant. 

Not many things happened during Anandi's first five months. At sixth months old, her family encountered an unofficial rival pack. With two adults and one pup, they were no match for the opponents. Even though they both had fighting experience. In the parents' minds, they knew they would have to make a dire sacrifice. Despite Kenya's larger size, Yufazi attempted to distract the rivals while she ran with Anandi. Young and naive, the young pup was unaware of what was really going on. When they reached Fengari's border, Kenya told Anandi to stay put in an inactive burrow. Numerous times, the pup attempted to follow her mother, not wanting to be alone. Soon, her mother asked her to play a game. 

"Let's play a game." 

"Oh! How do we play?"

"You sit in this burrow until I came back. If you do so, you will get a surprise."

"That's it?"

"Yes. Now, get in."

Anandi enthusiastically complied. She was unaware of the fate of her parents. For hours, we was left alone. The pup became worried. Did her parents get lost? What took them so long?  When she stopped out of the burrow, two wolves approached her. Their names were Iridis and Melcon. They were both guardians of Fengari. After the couple realized that Anandi's parents wouldn't come back (after she told them what happened), they took her in. Her life went from simple to complex. 

Throughout the years in the dynasty, she was subject to jealously and bullying. Because her adoptive parents were guardians, she was looked at more favorably than her counterparts. She also received more help with fighting and battle tactics than the others in her field. At the time, there were more wolves in the pack than any other canine. With that, the beauty standards excluded Anandi. Some members figured that if they couldn't match her fighting, then they could hurt her esteem. 

The main bully was Mordu, the hier of the king/queen. He was a large wolf. One of the biggest in the clan. He always made it a point to tell Anandi how ugly and pathetic she was and looked for opportunities to put her on the spot. As both creatures grew up, their relationship became filled with hatred. They would often get into small fights. Since their parents were close, none of them would get punished. 

In response to the constant bullying, Anandi become cold and fierce. She withdrew from almost everyone but her adoptive parents. They were vital for her confidence and support. At one point, Iridis decided to teach the hyena the art of manipulation. Since then, Anandi incorporated it into her daily life. In pursuit of revenge, she used her skills to turn members against Mordu. Day by day, some lost respect for the heir. 

Becoming sick of the distancing, Mordu wanted to retaliate. In the middle of the clearing, the brute attacked the hyena. The spotted creature would snap back, but would miss. His movements were quicker and more agile. At one point, he made a fatal mistake. He left one of his legs wide open when he went for her neck. That was when she struck. Her jaws bit down on his leg pretty hard. Then, she pushed him to his side and bit his other leg. Because she was in a rage, she cared less of what wounds she inflicted. Members had to push her off of him to get her to stop. While her shoulders and back bled, the heir was crippled. The fight was over. 

Soon after, a lot of members started to respect Anandi more. Because Mordu was seen as one of the strongest fighters, his defeat was unforgettable. When Melcon died of disease, Anandi took his place as the guardian. 

Months later, an unofficial clan attacked the Fengari dynasty. While the pack was able to fight them off, the king, queen, Iridis, and some of the warriors and hunters died. Mordu died shortly after the battle, leaving Anandi as the next animal to the queen rank. During the hyena's reign, she dedicated her time to building her pack back up.

- Everyone should address Anandi as "Queen Anandi" or "Queen T'Chara"
- Anandi's word is law. 
- Don't beg for ranks.
- Don't treat any member like trash. That includes subordinates.
- Any high ranker abusing any power will get punished. 
- Members should refrain from attacking/hurting one another. They should    leave that for the other dynasties. 
- Keep camp area clean at all times
- Challenge every trespasser
- Everyone must be present during festivals
- What goes on at Fengari, stays at Fengari
- Do not seek relationships outside of Fengari
- The right to mate can be taken away
- Everyone is entitled to their thoughts and opinions
- The wellbeing of the dynasty is high priority.
