APPEARANCE HEIGHT: 4ft WEIGHT: 430 lb VOICE OVER: Aidan Turner ONE LINE DESCRIPTION: a large blonde lion with metallic blue eyes Skule is a very unique lion. His pale blond fur that almost appears white and his eyes are of the palest gray with highlights of an icy blue color. He's a massive male with the muscle to match his intimidating stature. His thick, luscious blonde mane is long and thick. It's not smooth or silky for that matter, rather it has a rough texture to it. His mane helps protect his jugular and more vulnerable rounded ears. Despite his hefty size, Skule is fairly lean and slender looking. PERSONALITY Throughout his entire life, Skule has done everything for the sake of his family. From sacrificing his time to giving up his meal, to losing sleep or losing love, Skule has spared nothing for his family. His mate, in particular, is a feline he's sunk his whole heart into. Skule handles conflict with a cool confidence that comes with years of practice in mediating younger siblings and cousins in fights. He's a natural paternal figure, easily being able to adjust to a cub's needs and desires. To him, children are the essence of life and while he doesn't have any of his own, he is more than patient enough to wait for his mate to be ready. Skule is the epitome of nobility, holding himself to a high set of personal qualities and moral standards and ideals. However, never will you see him pushing others to adopt these ideas and moral principles. The male is a gentle giant, overly affectionate, and perhaps one of the sweetest beings you'll ever come across. He enjoys showering his family with his love and affection and isn't afraid to be called "whipped". To him, it's not wrong to let his family and especially his mate know just how much he values them, even if they don't always get along. In the end, Skule knows they will fight through their differences together. LIKES: + Children - Cubs and the like will always hold a special place in Skule's heart. + Sunbathing - Enjoying the sun's warmth is a favorite past time of Skule's, especially when it's in the company of family + Family - Family means everything to Skule, even crazy uncle Stan will be loved + Stories - Skule may not be a cub anymore, but he's easily entertained by the stories the elders tell. Sometimes even he likes to tell them instead of listening. DISLIKES: - Fighitng - He may be a fighter, but that doesn't mean he likes it. Skule doesn't like fighting unless it's his last resort. Why can't people just get along? - Liars - One of Skule's biggest pet peeves are liars. He simply cannot understand why people can't just say the truth. - Grooming - He knows it necessary, but like... c'mon it's only going to get dirty in a few hours. SKILLS: + Fighting Prowess - Having been a protector his entire life, fighting isn't anything new to Skule even if he much rather talk things out first. + Mediator - Skule was one of the eldest cubs in his former pride and as such often took on the role of mediator between his younger cousins and siblings. + Deplomacy - Skule values words over physical altercation. If he can find a way to talk things out and find a solution to a problem that way without resorting to the use of his teeth and claws, he'd jump on the opportunity in a heartbeat. FLAWS: - Gullible - Skule easily believes anything you tell him, no matter how outrageous it may sound. He likes to believe that people would only lie to him to protect his interests and that everyone should be given the benefit of the doubt - even if the truth sounds extremely unlikely. - Klutz - It's really a curiosity on how Skule became skilled in fighting, especially when he trips over his own paws by just simply walking down the road. Flat surfaces see to be the bane of his existence. - Whipped - Skule might not consider this a flaw, but it probably is. He respects his wife, but when she comes calling he drops everything and comes running. He's definitely whipped. - Nosy - Skule cares about those around him and as such he can come off as pushy and nosy, tending to put his nose in other people's affairs in the name of helping them. HISTORY Life has been good to Skule. He was born outside of Skotadi in a small pride run by his father and mother. Both his parents and aunts were loving, showing Skule and his cousins and siblings with love. Skule adopted the role of the protector of his brood and quickly became the mediator whenever a fight broke out. That's not to say that Skule couldn't fight if it came down to it, in fact, he was rather skilled at it. Only he didn't use it unless he absolutely had too. Life was good and like all young males his age the time to leave his pride behind and forage a path on his own came. He left behind his way of life with a few brothers and cousins who were leaving as well. For a few years, Skule traveled in his little bachelor bands until he was the only one left. His cousins and brothers had found pride's or groups of their own and as such left behind the small gang of males. Being already 4 years old and the last in his group Skule settled his sights on finding a place to call home. A few months later and the male found Skotadi. It took some convincing, but before long he joined the Skotadian ranks and settled himself. It was then he met his wife. She was a little younger than he was, but it was her blonde pelt that made her stick out. It was much the same as his and that instantly drew him to her. He courted her for a few months before finally asking her to be his mate. She agreed and they have been happily mated since.
