Much like the thread title explains this is where members and staff alike will post requests for extended hiatus', retiring/dropping characters, reporting bugs, claiming grubs, and dropping characters.

dropping a character

Dropping a character is a fairly simple process. Fill out the form below completely and wait for staff approval. Dropping characters are a permanent solution for getting rid of characters or if they have simply died in roleplay. Dropped characters will have their accounts deleted and all their recent threads archived, regardless if completed or still being used. Because of this, it is recommended to gather everything you need/want from that character before requesting it below.[break][break]

DROPPED CHARACTER ROSTER

retiring a character

Don't have time for a specific character or lost muse for them yet don't want to drop them entirely? Retiring a character is a wonderful alternative to dropping a character. By retiring a character they are excused from any and all activity check penalties henceforth from their retirement age. Characters are only retired for a maximum of 6 months! Once that time is up they'll be considered active duty once more and expected to meet activity checks.

While retiring a character their account will be locked from further use and all current threads will be archived. Players may choose to reinstate these threads upon return or start completely anew. To remove a character from their retirement, simply request it here and list which threads should be reinstated. To keep roleplay running smoothly, retired characters are considered MIA or on a secret mission for the dynasty.

If you are planning to be gone for longer than a month, then please use this form below! Hiatus allow members to take a break from Godless, no matter the reason. To go on an extended leave of absence members need to formally request a hiatus. This is only a temporary solution! If you plan on leaving Beautiful Creatures indefinitely, then please post a goodbye thread in the Bon Voyage board. By requesting a formal leave of absence your account and your characters will be pardoned from any activity check penalties.

Grubs - Beautiful Creatures' site currency - is what you as a member collect to purchase items from the sites store. Earning grub is also relatively easy. Grubs can be earned in a variety of ways such as, but not limited to posting, participating in contests, advertising, winning our monthly raffle, etc.

Below is a compact list of the many different ways to earn grubs.

5 - make an in-character post (awarded automatically)
10 - nominate somebody besides yourself for the forum otms.
10 - Create an open thread in an IC territory (per thread; awarded automatically)
10 - Create a new in character thread (automatically awarded)
15 - Advertise the site
50 - Adopt a Beautiful Creatures adoptable
50 - Successfully recommend a new member to the site
75 - Be a monthly spotlight
150 - Adopt the Featured Adoptable of the Month!
200 - Have a birthday on the site!

IN CHARACTER
10 - Meet an animal from a rival dynasty
10 - Perform your job or rank duties
10 - Get into a fight with another rival animal
10 - Go on a border patrol
10 - Gain a mate
25 - Spend some time with a friendly dynasty mate or friend
25 - Visit a territory you've never visited before
25 - Listen to a story about your dynasty or the gods from an older dynasty mate
75 - Participate in a mandatory dynasty meeting, ceremony, or activity (per character)
100 - Participate in an official hunt
100 - Be the parent of children born on board!
150 - Get promoted to a high rank in your dynasty
200 - Live a long life from childhood to elderhood and die on site
