[attr="class","sitepostname"]BEAUTIFUL CREATURES [attr="class","sitepost1"] | die rolling This thread is basically applicable for anyone needing to do a die roll. Die rolls can be used for official group hunts, foraging for berries, crashing threads, anything else requiring a die roll. The die roll plug-in is enabled here on the forum, meaning you could actually include the die roll in your post when you are roleplaying. However, to keep things simple, neat, and easy ALL dice rolls will be done underneath this thread. i. bonuses Naturally, certain characters will be better at certain tasks than others however there is always room for failure so die rolls do matter and bonuses only give you a slight chance of being better. Below is a list of bonuses the various ranks and levels obtain. These bonuses are added to your die roll if you are rolling for something specific to your rank, i.e a hunter catching a deer. Lower Class Omegas: No added bonuses are given. Pupils: No added bonuses are given. Subordinate Class Hunter/Forager: Receive a +1 Bonus to Hunting/Foraging. Warrior: Receive a +1 Bonus to Fighting. Shaman: No added bonuses are given. Apothecary: No added bonuses are given. Nannies: No added bonuses are given. Elders: No added bonuses are given as their skills are too rusty. Superior Class Paladin/Preymaster: Receive a +2 Bonus to Hunting/Foraging. Guardians: Receive a +2 Bonus to Fighting. Heirs: (Level 1-2) Receive pupils bonuses. (Level 3) Receive a +1 Bonus to Hunting/Foraging and a +1 Bonus to Fighting. (Level 4-5) Receive a +2 Bonus to Hunting/Foraging and a +2 Bonus to Fighting. Duke/Duchess: Receive a +2 Bonus to Hunting/Foraging and a +3 Bonus to Fighting. King/Queen: Receive a +3 Bonus to Hunting/Foraging and a +3 Bonus to Fighting. Please note: Be sure to read the hunting guide for specific hunting rules and the fighting and sparing guide for official hunting/sparing and hostage rules. Hunting and some escape/sparing rolls require 2D6. Remember: benefits can be given for successful hunts. ii. high ranks and private threads High ranks are also allowed to enter closed, private threads. However, if the user playing said high ranked character wishes to enter a closed thread, they need to firstly have a logical and valid reason to do so. Valid reasons are outlined below, however, know that any intent at crashing a thread is always an attempt until a die roll is done to confirm if the crash was a success. High ranked characters are not everywhere and we do not want plots or dramas to be hindered by a high rank falling in on something every single time.
Die rolls should be done in this thread! Please use the general request code outlined below so staff know what exact thread a die roll is being conducted for. The die roll plug-in uses a standard D6. The die roll plug-in can be used simply by posting [*roll*] - without the stars. There is also a little icon of a die at the top of every full reply thread - beside quote/code/embedded tags. Crashing Roll Numbers: Fail (1-3) = Your character doesn’t seem to be wondering by this location today… perhaps another time. Success (4-6) = Your character hears some chatter coming from nearby, might as well see what’s happening. Please note: No bonuses are given for crashing threads iii. die roll form Die Rolling Request Form: For crashing: Use one roll - i.e [*roll*] For hunting: Use two rolls - i.e [*roll*] [*roll*] For more information on hunting - see here For sparring: Use two rolls - i.e [*roll*] [*roll*] For more information on fighting/sparing and hostage attempts - see here [b]Type of Die Roll:[/b] (hunt/forage, crash, fight) [newclass=".sitepost1"]width:150px; height:350px; position:relative; left:0px; [/newclass][newclass=".sitepostname"]font-size:30px; text-align:center; line-height:150px; margin-top:125px; margin-left:-125px; width:400px; height:150px; transform:rotate(90deg); font-family:Cinzel;[/newclass][newclass=".sitepost1:before"]content: ''; border-bottom: 150px solid rgba(0,0,0,0); border-left: 150px solid #ccdedc; width: 0;[/newclass] |
