Winter creeps closer to the turn's end of 1515.
1516 is to see Pern's newest Weyr, Meraki, officially survive its first turn. Something hoped and strived for, but wasn't a guarantee.
Things have gone smoothly with the Weyr now having both weyrleader roles filled and the fighting wings strengthened by additional transfers as wall as the transferred Weyrlings now graduating. Now the Weyr's first Hatchlings are steadily growing and with a Wher clutch expected, the hope is for the new turn to be filled with continued growth. With the 8th turn of threadfall ahead, will the Weyr rise to face it with as little trouble as the last?
We are a semi-new Weyr, with many roles still available for members to fill!
